Summary/Abstract: Case studies are laughter forms in epic poems about Marko Kraljevic and procedures that provide comedy. Comical plays, scrambling and lowering analyzed from the point that in their theories of laughter which explained Vladimir Prop and Mikhail Backhtin. The research’s aim is to demonstrate that range from mocking to the flamboyant (carnival) laughter epic structure of the system at the same time breaks down and builds up, directing laughter principles to the hero or to his opponents. The analysis showed that the epic cycle about Marko Kraljevic can be seen as a serious-comic genre because laughter occurs in the maintaining of unmasking ideologies and social systems, and as a tool for liberation from fear, force demystification and violence.
