Summary/Abstract: This article aims to assess the financial condition of Polish small and mediumsized enterprises with foreign capital against all the entities of the analyzed sector. The analysis was performed for the years 2009-2014 on the basis of statistical data from the Central Statistical Office and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. Preliminary discussion was devoted to the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Polish economy and the importance of foreign capital for their operation. The rest of the article concerns the evaluation of the financial condition of operators representing financial sector.
