Summary/Abstract: The aim of article is to present performance dashboard and its usage in early warning systems for health unit. Authors defined health unit in the context of Polish law and characterized early warning systems based on literature review. Performances dashboard and its advantages in data visualisation and information communication have been described. Examples of usage performance dashboard in health care units management system have been presented in areas like: administration (includes human resources, finance management, patient management, marketing), epidemiology, operational and patient status monitoring area.
