Summary/Abstract: Art. 3 determines the situations in which the Geological and Mining Law does not apply; Art. 4 applies to mining (with the exception of the law in question) of certain minerals by individuals to meet their own needs. Art. 5 defines therapeutic (curative) waters, thermal waters and brines, and determines that they are minerals within the meaning of the GMA.
