Summary/Abstract: The author aims at the evaluation of events devoted to the Jewish national minority in Poland as attractions for cultural tourism. Many authors have agreed so far, that there is a growing popularity of cultural attractions as a global trend, on the other hand after 1989 there has also been a trend of growing activity of organisations representative for both ethnic and national minorities. Taken that into consideration, the question apperas, whether liberalization of the Polish law has supported institutionalisation of Jewish minority in Poland and in the same time the increase of events devoted to their culture. The concern follows therefore, whether these events are able and in fact attract attention of not only local inhabitants but also tourists. It it is a case, then the thesis can be formulated that ethnic event tourism in Poland is stimulated by the country multicultural character.
