Summary/Abstract: The objective of the hereby paper is to discuss the mass racing events as the factor of tourism movement in Jelenia Góra district. The introduction presents the problems of running tourism as well as issues related to its functioning. Next the Author focused of the characteristic of Jelenia Góra district, with particular emphasis on tourism economy in this region. The Author also discusses the data related to tourism movement and tourism development in district. The final part presents the mass racing events organized in 2015 year in the region, as well as information related to the number of people of the participating in racing. The analysis determined the percentage of participants running events that are not residents of the county Jelenia Góra.
