Knowledge Transfer Planes and Trends in Education

Summary/Abstract: Quick development and increase of knowledge, but also the fact that it quickly becomes outdated, cause the need of changes in the way of functioning of many organizations, including educational ones. The issue involves fi rst of all overcoming isolation, crossing fi xed formal, legal and offi cial limits and going towards open, fl exible organizations concentrated not only on the acquisition and creation of new knowledge but also on promoting the knowledge among various entities both within the organization and in its environment. The article presents the dimensions and directions of transfer of knowledge in education, with particular consideration of transfer of knowledge between universities and social pedagogical practice institutions.
