KAIZEN AS AN EFFICIENT METHOD ENHANCING EFFECTIVE COMPANY MANAGEMENT

Summary/Abstract: The article presents main assumptions of the Kaizen method. It characterizes basic (selected) Kaizen techniques and tools, which have a significant impact on effectiveness of company management . The effectiveness defined as improvement of quality of goods or services as well as improvement of work safety understood as a decrease in the number of work accidents and their severity. Kaizen depends on a company profile and openness to introduced changes, starting from management level. The change in workers’ attitude towards their tasks should in future lead to increase in work safety.
