Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to assess the standard of living and level of innovation in the particular Polish voivodeships in the years 2008, 2010 and 2013. Taxonomic method of grouping objects was used for this purpose, and based on it there were indicated the voivodeships with relatively the highest and lowest levels of analyzed phenomena. Also the groups of voivodeships with similar level of life and innovation were established. Moreover, it was attempted to assess the relation between the level of innovation and standard of living in the particular voivodeships.
