Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to take into discussion the problem of multiculturalism with its various facets and interpretations and to analyse it in relation to Stephen Henighan’s novel The Street of Winter. More than a metropolis, Montreal, the main character of Henighan’s book, becomes a labyrinthine network of identity searches and a devourer of human destinies.
