Summary/Abstract: The analysis of the public effects of the Colectiv Club accident (since last autumn) shows that there is a considerable impact of mass-media on the public perceptions, in cases with highly emotional development. Our analysis, on opinion polls, shows that media agenda had influenced a lot the perception about who’s to blame for that tragic accident. When an important event is publicly debated, this debate can influence the public perception – for example, after one month, has increased a lot the number of people that blamed all the politicians and the Government for this accident, after that theory was presented a lot in the media. Also, after that accident, the change of the Government was seen as a normal decision.
