Rzeźba ilustruje fakt objawienia się Matki Boskiej w dniu 19 września 1846 r. w La Salette we Francji.//The article recounts the growth of the worship of Our Lady of La Salette. Made of basswood and famous for its graces, the statue in Dębowiec depicts the weeping Our Lady of La Salette. The statue shows the apparition of the Mother of God on 19th September 1846 in La Salette (France).
