Summary/Abstract: This paper is dedicated to the Kratovo man of letters of the 15th с. Deacon Dimiter and to his only work, known only on the basis of literary sources, which has entered science as the Nomocanon. Only a fragment of five pages and the afterword of the copyst have survived. By an analysis of the contents and the style of the afterword the copy of Dimiter of Kratovo has been identified as the Syntagma of Matthew Vlastar. Some historical facts have been corrected. The interdependence between this and other contemporary copies of the Syntagma has been sought with the conviction that this is the way of establishing the literary fate of the manuscript of Dimiter of Kratovo.
