RECEPTION DU THEATRE DE MATEI VISNIEC : AUTO-TRADUCTION ET REECRITURE

Summary/Abstract: One could say, paraphrasing a Vişniecřs character who referred to the translation of Lautréamontř work with the words: « Vous ne vous rendez même pas compte comme votre œuvre passe bien en roumain » (Visniec, 2009a : 18) [« donřt imagine how good passes in Romanian your work »], that Romanian playwrights go well both in French and in Romanian. The author himself explained : « Cřest que la langue roumaine est encore une langue fraîche. Elle est capable de recevoir beaucoup » (Visniec, 2009a : 18) [« [...] Romanian is still a fresh language ... just recently, capable therefore to receive a lot »]. Things are not the same regarding other writers of Romanian literature, who « pass »sometimes in French and due especially to Slavic words which are difficult to translate. In fact, Vişniecřs work «passes» well and in a language or others because the author himself lives in both languages. We propose, in our paper, to argue that the acceptance of works, translation as stated by Henri Meschonnic, is the capital. You must get to think about language, that is, to understand what it is composed and how they act, issues that Vişniec's theater clearly proves.
