Summary/Abstract: Standards of teaching philosophy should not differ from standards accepted in teaching other subjects of general education in secondary school. It means that innovative teaching methods should also be used for the work with a learner in didactics of philosophy. Tutoring is one of the most important methods of teaching philosophy.It has also been used in the past during teaching philosophy in Poland. Presently, the most popular form is online tutoring. The article refers to the theory of multilevel education and discusses the assumptions of general teaching and learning based on a master–student relation. In addition, the article points to modern information technologies which provide us with new online educational tools and methods.
