Spatial differentiation of level and dynamics of wages in rural areas in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the classification of predominantly rural subregions (NTS 3) in Poland by Eurostat regional typology using positional statistics with regard to the level and dynamics of wages in the period 2008–2011. It was stated that within the subre-gions with the highest dynamics of real wages there were also such where the level of wages was relatively high. It could be a barrier in the process of economic convergence in rural areas in Poland.
