Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of comparative analysis of labour market in districts of Mazowieckie voivodship using synthetic indicator. The districts were listed from the best to the worst on the basis of synthetic indicator level and next groups of districts with a similar situation on local labour market were created. It was stated that synthetic indicator provides more reliable comparison of local labour markets than the unemployment rate.
