Summary/Abstract: The article outlines a few of the general considerations, pieces of advice, hardships and cumbersome procedures in the professional life of interpreters and translators. In a globalized world in which the need for high accuracy professional translation and interpretation is mandatory, the quality of the work done by professionals is of utmost importance. It is equally important that current undergraduate students in Language Departments understand these requirements and abide by them in order to establish the credibility, respect and trust the domain professionals deserve.
