Summary/Abstract: This study is centered on the human person as the subject of the process of moral instruction, starting from the God`s image tobecome in God`s likeness. This very complex process, which has deep theological meanings, reaches the highest point in the so-called theological term theosis – the final act on the dynamic path – epectasis– of becoming “like God”, thus fulfilling the creation goal. The sacrificeof Jesus Christ restores the real meaning of the human life and gives tothe humanity a new purpose to reach for – the unification with God by practicing the virtues revealed by the Person of Christ. Having Christ’s Person as the supreme example of holiness, man, as the image of his Creator, has to reach constantly, in the Church and as an individual, to complete the process of moral perfection.
