Summary/Abstract: The deliberate deprivation of a person of his or her liberty may – upon the fulfil-ment of specific requirements – be recognized as a crime against humanity, the punish-ability of which is not subject to statutory limitations, even if it does not violate all of the elements of the prohibited conduct as stipulated in Art. 118a § 2 point 2 of the Polish Penal Code.
