Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to point out the theoretical framework of the concept of the career of talented workers seen in the international perspective. Talent issues are increasingly considered to be important from the point of view of the development of an organization that works in the global market. However, it is difficult to apply it in practice, due to the uncertainty about a meaning of this construct. Moreover, the specificity of talents and their development needs are related to the characteristics of the organization employing talented people. Their career is built on the basis of the specific features which are developed with intention by an organization or by an individual. Hence the aim of the article is to identify the specificity of the career development of talented persons undertaken in an international/global environment, in particular with regard to the indication of the definition of the global career of talented people, forms of this career and its characteristics.
