Employees training and its influence on promotion and leaving an organization

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to present the results of the analysis of internal written sources, carried out in one of the global IT outsourcing organizations in Poland, employing over 5000 employees. Empirical part is based on an analysis of existing reports and lists of training, promotion of employees and departure from work, as well as an in-depth interview with one of the employees. A survey of literature and on-line resources, regarding the development of the staff and human resources management, has been done for a theoretical review. Taken considerations will be focused on the search for answers to the question whether training affects the departure and promotions of the staff?
