Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the Jean-Luc Marion’s view on reasonand faith, and on the necessity of the argument in contemporary apologetics. In Marion’s opinion, the mission of a Christian intellectualin the postmodern world is to transform kerygma in arguments forthe unbelievers. Exercising a postmetaphysical apologia, Marion’s argumentation can be a model for the Christian mission today.
