Changes of emotive component of meaning in lexical units used in modern Russian political language

Summary/Abstract: The significant changes in various spheres of social and political life in Russia became a reason of changes in social consciousness, which are reflected in language system. This process is particularly noticeable in lexical units, used in political language, because this field is very susceptible to influence of extralinguistic factors. The author analyses lexical units connected with political language, whose emotive component has been changed, which is connected with changes of ideological connotations.
