Summary/Abstract: The article discusses Poland’s foreign policy in 2015/2016. The most importantfactors which influenced Poland’s policy in 2015 were the presidential andparliamentary elections, won by the Law and Justice party and its candidate forthe president, Andrzej Duda. 2015/2016 has also been a year of change of Poland’simage. The country has been criticized by its European partners and institutions forthe new government’s internal policy and the lack of solidarity regarding the issueof refugees and migrants.The main areas of research in the article are: Poland’s policy in the EuropeanUnion, its bilateral relations with Western European States and its neighbours in theEast, as well as security policy.
