Summary/Abstract: The poetical works written by the generation of the 1970s in Voivodina, represents a crossroads in Romanian literature from this region, a return to a modern poetic language, which will reach high level of current Romanian poetry. Renewing their lyrical discourse and confrontation with some disagreements in relation to their way of writing from the supporters of traditionalism in Vojvodina, writers of this new literary phenomenon, finishing the university education in Bucharest, were brought upon their return to Serbia, a new literary paradigm. This writers was not belonging to any literary group and they had no declared aesthetic program, but they were were able to bring a freshness in their verse, the modern stylistic color, and they have managed to mark the evolution of Romanian poetry in Vojvodina. On one side influenced the Romanian literature from Romania and on the other side of Serbian literature, these poets were succeeded to impose itself with a poetry which marks the beginning of a new, ambitious, fresh and modern literature. Such poetry wrote Olimpiu Baloş, one of the greatest representatives of this new literary phenomenon in Vojvodina.
