Summary/Abstract: Romanian Gendarmerie demonstrated for 11 years with professionalism that can participate in international missions under command of UN, EU or NATO.In this article we present tasks which Romanian Gendarmerie participated in international arrangements for recruitment, selection and training of the gendarmes for these kinds of missions and capabilities currently available to the gendarmerie to participate in international missions.
