Summary/Abstract: The emergence of bioethics in the early 70s is due to many problems and anxieties that have begunto arise from changes occurring in biology and medicine. This new science focuses mainly on themoral analysis of the following aspects of life: methods of arti_ cial procreation, (abortion, uterussurgery, etc.); on means of preservation of life (dialysis, methods to support vital functions, organsampling and transplantation, etc.) end of life (treatment of patients in their _ nal stage of existence, euthanasia, medical assisted suicide, etc.).Interrogations that bioethicists raised refer to moral and spiritual values that biomedical technologydevelopment should follow. Of course, the answer is dif_ cult to give today in a multicultural societywhere almost everything is relative, a world where human life is often likened to a certain commercialproduct that can be created to order, sell and even suppress, when is not useful anymore. In this context, traditional Christian bioethics is a challenge that proposes people new ways to bringthem closer to God, which is a focus on the experience and seeking of holiness, saying that the challengesare not coming from moral diversity, but only from temptation.
