Summary/Abstract: Is There Need for Christian-Orthodox Bioethics? One of the characteristic features of the begining of the twenty-first century is humanity¢ s need for bioethics. Former ethic postulates are disturbed and the old morality can no longer garantee the harmony between good and evil, in most cases faling to make logical, theoretical judqements connected with morality. To all these human warries, Christian morality opposes the hope for respect and for the permanent renaissance of human values, and of the MAN as a unique human being, which demands absolute respect from birth to death.
