Summary/Abstract: The whole event of development processes taking place in the region are characterized by great changeability, so singling out the basic factors, as well as defining their influence on competition is very complicated. Regional competitiveness is as much debated by politicians and policy makers as it is doubted by academics. The aim of this paper is to present the determinants of competitiveness of the EU regions
