Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the main aspects of the quality improvement in health care services. There were chosen health care centers which belonged to the most popular group of companies in this sector. The author presents mistakes connected with the management actions directed on the crisis in this line of business. In every management action directed on the crisis there were described connections with these mistakes and health care service quality; as well as suggestions how to avoid these situations. In research methodology the author used literature review as well as direct observation in health care centers in public health care service area. The results presented in this paper could be used by the health care centers to take steps connected with management actions directed on the crisis as well as on health care service quality improvement. It could be used as such kind of basic direction; which could be developed individually by every health care center. The aim of this paper is to identify quality mistakes in management actions directed to crisis as well as their connection with service quality and prevention to this kind of mistakes.
