Summary/Abstract: The study aimed to examine the relationship between knowledge sharing and the level of innovation intensity in case of the occurrence of the given relationship mediator i.e. trust. The object of the study was a large enterprise specialising in the production of cast iron goods; offering its products in the national as well as foreign markets; applying advanced technologies of production and regularly releasing innovative products into the markets. On the basis of the study it was confirmed that the variance in the area of innovation could be explained by the variance in the area of knowledge sharing. It was further concluded that knowledge donating is a stronger predictor variable (dependent variable) than knowledge collecting; which allows to predict the dependent variable more accurately. Trust; however; mediates significantly statistically the relationship between knowledge sharing and innovations.
