Summary/Abstract: The paper is an attempt to expose the importance of innovations for small enterprise development. The research is a case study. When selecting companies, the level of effectiveness of organization functioning and development, reflected in competitive advantage, has been taken into consideration. Finally, a small manufacturing company registered in Świętokrzyskie region has been selected.
