Summary/Abstract: The article examines L. Wittgenstein’s therapeutic overcoming of metaphysics - one of the philosophy projects that prevailed in the philosophy of the 20th century. It shows that Wittgenstein rejects the cognitive model of philosophy that dominated the Western philosophy since its inception, for 2500 years. The main thesis of Wittgenstein that was prevailing during his entire philosophical creativity period, maintained that philosophy is not a theory, but practice that clarifies the use of language: solving puzzles, rejecting superstitions and grammatical illusions. Wittgenstein’s therapeutic philosophy aims to find a consensus with the own form of life. It shows how Wittgenstein rehabilitates the great Other of the Western philosophy – everyday life and everyday language use.
