Summary/Abstract: The author claims that a contemporary form of the classical conception of man, founded by Aristotle and advanced by St. Thomas Aquinas, can be found in the thought of M. A. Krąpiec. Krąpiec’s conception is “integral,” because of its realism resultant from the coherence with nature, Revelation, and internal human experience. Its openness to the wholeness of being, its correspondence of solutions concerning crucial problems of man with religious indications, and its explanation of the internal experience of the relation between “self” and acts of “mine”, constitute the integrity of the classical vision of man, and the everlasting value of classical anthropology.
