Summary/Abstract: The paper concerns itself with analyzing the full spectrum of possible ends aimed at by advertisements utilizing children and aimed at children between the two frame-parameters: entertainment, on one side, and manipulation, on the other. The main premise of the paper is two-pronged: one prong consists of the idea that children are one of the most important elements (at least at the level of social perception) in a given society; the other prong relies on the fact that children are the easiest to manipulate and the best way to manipulate adults, on a general level.
