Summary/Abstract: How the Savior commanded the apostles to baptize in the name of the Trinity seems in comprehensible to many:„Go yet therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things what so ever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Mat. 28, 19-20). St. Paul baptized „in the name of Lord Jesus” (Acts 19, 5). And then, as he says: „How we baptized into Christ into his death we were baptized”. This be wild ermentis cleare dupby St. Basil the Great in the sense that the Apostles did not break the dogma, but when they uttered the name of Jesus Christ during the Baptism, they perceived the fact that the other Persons of the Trinity worked through Him.
