Summary/Abstract: This article evokes some aspects of the spiritual settlement of Oaşa (Alba county). Its beginnings are linked to the 40s of the last century and its history, which is intertwined with the very existence of Oaşa monastery (founded after 1990), is also related to the appearance of several Bessarabian refugee families in Şugag-Alba, township where Oaşa always was.
