Summary/Abstract: In the “Russian Church of the Catacombs”, a person that no one would have suspected capable of“something like that” would generate, would “sprout”, a vivid theological thought, topical but alsovisionary, with a comprehensive and convincing homiletic discourse, as though supporting the lasttimes patristic. His name is Father Aleksandr Men. As extensive and original his work, as unusual,beyond fabulous was his life. The article is a spiritual portrait of this Russian contemporary confessor.
