NORME ET NON-NORME DANS LE DISCOURS DES FEMMES

Summary/Abstract: Our paper aims at analyzing women’s perspective and usage of the linguistic norm in the public sphere. The sociological theories and the gender studies show that the linguistic norm in the public space is masculine and women have to adjust their discourse according to these masculine principles in order to be recognized as legitimate and reliable public figures. We are questioning the ground of the linguistic norm in politics and whether women embrace or transgress it in order to build a reliable and trustworthy image before the audience.
