LITERARY CREATION BETWEEN PARATOPIC AND TOPIC, INTEGRATION AND MARGINALITY

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the study is to examine the change in the power ratio of the paratopic from the social to the artistic stage. If within the social field the paratopic is marginal, in the field of artistic creation it is in a position of power. The questions we are trying to answer are: to what extent can literature be considered a ‘historical document’, how precise is the testimony of the literary text towards the mental speech of a historical era? May the artistic imaginary, a brand of paratope identity, be also critically explored as a document able to summarise and archive the original thinking of an era? The question is whether going back on the track of history of literature from this perspective means to reconstruct the inventory of a fragile paratopic identity, of some utopian construction or the contesting spirit of heterotopias.
