Summary/Abstract: The specificity of the younger generation of employees (known as Gen Y) is now an important factor affecting personnel policies in an enterprise, and it also poses new challenges for managers who need to be able to communicate effectively and manage the employees of a completely different approach to work, the employer and also colleagues than older generations. The authors, based on the studies of the literature and own research indicate the most important expectations of Gen Y employees regarding employers and supervisors. In the article the relations of the identified expectations according to gender, education, workplace and others were analyzed.
