Innovation in the service sector in Poland and changes in employment

Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to identify the transformations taking place in the Polish services sector due to innovation. The analysis covers the 2006-2009 period. The research objective is attained in two steps. Step 1 is the explanation of the services innovation specifics. An analysis of statistical data will lead to identification of the differences between innovations in services and in industry. Step 2 deals with the transformations which take place in the services sector and affect the employment structure and dynamics.
