Analysis of facility management services in the process of fire safety management in non-residential buildings

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyse Facility Management (FM) services in the process of fire safety management in non-residential buildings. Among others, the market share of the most important fire safety sector entities existing in Poland has been verified based on the FM concept. On the example of three selected non-residential buildings, there has been examined the share of annual costs of service and maintenance in the costs of installation of a new fire protection system. The share of failure or fire damage repair costs in the general installation cost together with the service cost has been examined. On the example of a selected Insurance Company there has been analysed the infl uence of various fire protection devices installed in the building on decreasing fire insurance premiums.
