Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present Romania's country branding as it is reflected in the famous “Wild Carpathia” trilogy. We will begin by explaining the keywords and concepts related to country branding and we will summarize the characteristics of the Romanian travel documentaries. Then we will analyze the most significant and relevant aspects that are highlighted throughout the three documentaries which promote Romania and its tourist attractions, focusing especially on the region of Transylvania. Finally, we will point out the conclusions related to the construction of Romania’s country branding, emphasizing the importance of the documentary film in this context.
