The green economy development at the local level - selected aspects

Summary/Abstract: Green economy is an alternative for an economy contributing to the ecological crisis. The aim of the article is to present that concept and to recognise selected conditions for the green economy development at the local level. The main research method was an analysis of literature as well international and national documents. The paper discusses the rationale and basis for the concept of a green economy, The relations between green and sustainable development were indicated. The key areas of the green economy with particular reference to financing possibilities were also discussed.
