Social responsibility of universities in the context of the internal quality assurance

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the essence of social responsibility and internal quality assurance in higher education. The article presents the results of research carried out in 79 Polish universities, concerning the selected elements of the internal system of quality assurance. The analysis of the results indicates that the activities undertaken by universities in quality assurance could be reference to elements of the concept of social responsibility.
