Determinants of Internal Systems of Ensuring the Quality of Education at Polish Universities

Summary/Abstract: An aim of considerations is to present the selected determinants of functioning of internal systems of ensuring the quality of education related to Polish universities. The author’s attention is focused on the international standards and guidelines concerning elements of the system of quality ensuring connected with the Bologna Process and the selected legal regulations in this respect in force in Poland. In the article, there are presented findings of surveys conducted at 79 Polish universities concerning the selected elements of internal systems of assurance of the quality of education in the context of European standards and guidelines in this respect. An analysis of the findings shows that the measures implemented at the universities surveyed within the framework of the functioning systems are compliant with the European standards and guidelines.
