Miesto goralských nárečí v stratifikácii poľského a slovenského národného jazyka
Position of Goral dialects in stratification of Polish and Slovak national languages

Summary/Abstract: The author is based on the basic principles of theory of language contacts and she had been concentrating her attention to research of relations of the Goral and Slovak dialects, rather Goral dialects and standard Slovak. Since two layers of phenomenon occur in researched dialects – older one is genetically Polish and the younger one is genetically Slovak, the author is suggesting that the Goral dialects should be included in the Polish system of national language as well as into the Slovak national system.
