A few remarks about word formation categorization in today’s village language against general Polish

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the attempt of determining specific function and category features of formants in contemporary folk word formation. They are found on the basis of paraphrases, constructed by means of definitions and comments of language users. The category distinctions of folk word formation concerns bigger or smaller category productivity of formants and liveliness of particular word formative categories and subcategories. They also consist in different category classification of some derivatives which means to include formation of common to folk and general Polish to different word formation categories. The manifestation of this tendency can also be internal category movements.
